The Schools’ Film Festival offers inner London secondary schools the chance to make a short film with the assistance of University student volunteers.

The Festival has run for one year and we were very excited by how well it went – offering the chance for pupils to learn how to make a film and then actually do it was very exciting for us.

The participating schools receive 4 weekly workshops on film making which develops their technical knowledge whilst also devising the script and plot for their film. They then have one day to film! After an editing period, all of the short films are then screened, so that the schools can meet each other and discuss what they learnt throughout the process.

If you are a school and are interested in taking part in the next Schools’ Film Festival, please get in touch with us via e-mail.
